1/18/14

Reading hour -- Tolstoy oldest (short stories, definitely preview before, he's not graphic but he is very dark and adult);  Treasure Island middle, and working on speech for co-op;  Where the Mountain Meets the Moon for youngest, really loving it.

Hayak -- now to page 68

Einstein -- now to page 137

Usborne WWI -- to page 61

Movie, Gallipoli -- with MAJOR omissions.  This is not a movie kids should see without parent preview and supervision, in addition to "adult content" which we just skipped completely, there is mild language and the story line is exceptionally tragic, sensitive kids could be distressed.  Still, it's a great movie for seeing the method of warfare and the new conditions of WWI.
